Year 7 Reaches The Top For Charity Event

Year 7 Eric entered the NHS Big Climb with his mum, who works at the Royal Preston Hospital where the event took place earlier this month.

Eric was initially part of the children’s team but the adult’s team needed a bit of help so Eric was on hand to assist his mum too!

“We had to climb a climbing wall as many times we could as a team over 30 minutes,” said Eric.

“I climbed the wall 25 times altogether for both teams as my mum’s team needed a bit of help and they won with 122 climbs.

“My sister and I raised £133 by ourselves and overall the event raised over £4500.”
