On Wednesday, 25 March the assembly hall was abuzz once again as Year 7 and Year 8 pupils and their families gathered for an Easter bingo fundraising event.

The evening was filled with laughter and friendly competition as attendees vied for an array of egg-cellent prizes. Mr Eastham, our Principal, showcased his new-found talent as the number caller, adding a delightful change to his daytime role.

Each line win elicited cheers as winners received goodie bags brimming with chocolate treats. The stakes were raised for full house wins, which were awarded hampers packed with chocolate, wine, and assorted Easter gifts.

More fun and games followed with bonus prizes for the winners of ‘Heads & Tails’ which went down to the wire and bought many giggles with it!

Not forgetting the raffle, which featured a handcrafted floral basket from our award-winning gardener, Mr Farron (flowers and planter donated by Newgate Nurseries).

The event proved to be a spectacular success, raising over £850, surpassing last year’s figure and marking a significant contribution to our school’s fundraising efforts.

We would also like to acknowledge the invaluable assistance provided by our helpers - Year 10 Lily E, Reese L & Ria S and Year 8 Ava G.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated and participated. Your support and generosity make events like these possible, and we look forward to many more in the future.
