Pupils were treated to a thrilling climbing wall experience on the last day before the half term break (22 May) as our end‑of‑term reward.
Those who met the criteria — 95%+ attendance, positive behaviour choices, and consistently demonstrating the Priory Standard — each enjoyed a dedicated hour on the climbing wall.
The mobile unit was set up in the school yard, offering a fun and challenging activity for pupils to enjoy with their peers. A number of pupils impressed staff with their determination, including Year 7 Imogen who showed particular confidence and resilience when taking on the challenge.
Organiser and Calder House Leader, Mrs Massey, said:
“It was fantastic to see so many pupils embracing the challenge and supporting one another throughout the session.
“Their positive attitude and willingness to have a go really stood out, and the feedback from the provider about our pupils’ behaviour and enthusiasm was extremely positive.”
“It was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of the half term on a high – quite literally!”
