Year 10 Georgia has taken part in a European football tournament with her team Sir Tom Finney FC Under 16s.
The side fundraised for the event by organising a bingo competition, an inflatable fun day and a charity walk.
The Under 16s went to Krakow in Poland at the end of June and competed against teams from Poland, Hungary and Austria, among others.
Georgia said: “It was a good experience, it’s the first time I have played football abroad and it was interesting seeing how other countries played the game.
“We didn’t get out of the group stages but it was still good fun.
“I am a centre back and I would like to take my football further.”
The £650,000 renovation of Priory’s 3G pitch has acquired funding as part of the school’s commitment to promote women and girls football, with pupils like Georgia flying the flag.
