Year 7 Heather celebrated an amazing first place in the Jim Moss English National Gymnastics Championships last weekend.

Heather, who competes for City of Preston Gymnastics, took part in the event in Leicester against 39 other competitors.

In the Ruby Intermediate category, she finished first on the floor, second on the bar, fourth on the vault and in the top 20 on the beam, placing her first overall.

Heather has had a busy month, representing Priory at the South Ribble Athletics Competition and taking home two medals, plus a successful rounders tournament team member. Meanwhile, her cheerfulness and polite confidence meant was also one of a group of Year 7 pupils asked to help guide Year 6 pupils at Thursday’s taster day.

Well done Heather!
