Following the school’s annual Key Stage 3 Cross Country competition, the PE Department is now in a position to announce this year’s results.
Pupils from across Years 7, 8 and 9 rose to the challenge of a demanding 1.5km woodland course, producing some excellent performances along the way.
The top six runners from each year group will now go on to represent Priory at the South Ribble Cross Country Championships on Saturday 14 November at Hutton Grammar School.
The House with the least number of points were the winners. Ribble sprinted into first place, with Douglas in Second, Hodder in Third despite an impressive result from the boys, and Calder pulling up the rear.
This year's top performing pupils, with the best times, for girls and boys were...
Reeva C (Year 8)
5 mins 45s (Douglas)
Charlie H (Year 9)
5 mins 0s (Hodder)
The Key Stage 4 selection is yet to be confirmed and the Championships will take place at Hutton Grammar on Friday, 13 November, during school time.
Letters have been given to qualifying Year 7-9 pupils and a copy can also be downloaded from the school website (letters).
