To mark International Waffle Day, our brilliant Catering team brought a little extra delight to breaktime today with irresistible freshly made Belgian waffles.
Served with a tempting selection of jams, chocolate sauce, syrup and squirty cream, the waffles were an instant hit with pupils - and the queues proved it!
The Restaurant and Bistro were buzzing, and the treats were so popular that they completely sold out in the latter… much to the disappointment of Year 10 and Year 11 students who arrived just a little too late.
A big shout‑out must go to Year 11 Eleanor, who stepped in during the rush to help Catering Manager Mrs Billings keep things running smoothly along with Miss Thornton.
