We are delighted to celebrate recognition for our business development leaders and catering team, who have been welcomed as the founding members of CRB Cunningham’s ‘Love Your Lunchtime Club’.
Mrs Barker, Strategic Business Development Manager, and Mr Bolton, Strategic Estates Development Manager, are recognised alongside our dedicated Catering Team for their work in transforming the lunchtime experience for our students.
The gesture highlights the impact of introducing our self-serve kiosks over the past year. Their innovation has helped to create smoother, more enjoyable lunchtimes, supporting pupil wellbeing while also increasing efficiency.
The initiative has boosted uptake, reduced waste and delivered a strong return on investment, with clear benefits for both pupils and staff.
This recognition reflects a truly pupil-first approach, rethinking how lunchtime works across the school and ensuring a calmer, more positive experience for everyone.
Adding to this success, Mrs Barker and Mr Bolton will attend the School Food People Awards for Excellence on Wednesday 8 July, where they have been shortlisted for the prestigious Nan Berger Memorial Award, which celebrates outstanding work in innovation, accreditation and collaboration.
At the same event, our Catering Team has also been named a finalist for the Secondary School Catering Team Award, in recognition of their continued commitment to enhancing the student dining experience.
These nominations go beyond operational improvements, they recognise the effort to create a high-quality, inclusive and forward-thinking lunchtime environment.
