Dev admitted he was ‘pleasantly surprised’ by his results.
“I got two Grade 9s and two Grade 8s among my results. I want to go to Newman College to study Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Engineering. I know it's a lot but I am confident I can do it.
“I worked hard and I was happy to get a Grade 8 in Further Maths.”
Sehr said she cried after one of her English Literature examinations as she believed she had done so badly. Instead she achieved a Grade 9 to go with four Grade 8 and three Grade 7s.
“I cried after my first English Literature exam as I just thought I had messed it up! I can’t believe I got a 9.
“I was so nervous last night as I only slept for four hours!
“I want to go to Newman College to study Criminology, Psychology and Law. I want to be a Forensic Psychologist."
