Lucy thought she had totally ‘messed up’ her History examination so she was shocked to achieve a Grade 9 among her fantastic results.

She also achieved 9s in English Language and Literature, 3 Grade 8s and a Grade 7 as well as a Level 2 Distinction in Child Development.

“After the exam, I thought it was bad and I was sure I would get a Grade 6 maximum so a 9 is a big shock!

“I have a choice to make as I may go to Runshaw College and do History, Sociology and Childcare or I may do a T-Level in Childcare. I have some big decisions!

Kayal celebrated a Grade 9 in English Literature along with five Grade 8s and a 7 among her results.

“I am really pleased as I didn’t sleep last night. I think it’s a relief as well. I expected a Grade 7 in Maths and I got an 8 so that was good. The 9 in English Literature was also unexpected.

“I am going to Newman College to study Maths, Biology and Chemistry as I want to do something in medicine.”

Junaid was celebrating a 9-9 in Science as well as a Grade 9 in Maths among his impressive results.

“I am really happy with my Science as I wasn’t expecting 9s. In Maths, I got an 8 in my mock so to get a 9 in the exam is great.

“I want to go to Runshaw College to study Maths, Computer Science and Accounting and do a degree apprenticeship maybe.”
